On 11th July, Ruan Yihua, Director of Research Department, led a team to visit and investigate Shenzhen Wanchi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. with Wang Yongxue, Vice Dean of Undergraduate Education College and Vice Dean of Integrated Circuit College, Wang Yang, Director of Internet of Things Research Institute, and Zhang Xiujun and Hu Dujuan, and two faculty members from the School of Telecommunications participated in the survey. The general manager of the company, Cheng Hongzhi, received and accompanied the survey talks throughout the visit.

At the symposium, Cheng Hongzhi warmly welcomed the school delegation to visit the company and introduced the company's development history, product fields, technical characteristics, operation mode and so on. He hoped to cooperate with the school in the areas of industry-academia-research and talent cultivation. Ruan Yihua expressed his gratitude for the company's warm reception, stressed that the school attaches great importance to school-enterprise co-operation, introduced the school's applied research and development, and hoped that the school and the company could deepen their co-operation in the future in the areas of technological research, product development, and the integration of production and education. Subsequently, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges in the areas of technology research and development, talent cultivation, teaching and training, and project application in the field of IoT radio frequency.

The company focuses on the innovative research and development, production and sales of wireless radio frequency (RFID) products and industry solutions for the Internet of Things. It is a well-known enterprise in the RFID industry of the Internet of Things in China. During the investigation, the investigators watched the company’s product simulation demonstration on site and visited the company’s R&D department and product assembly workshop.
